Your shelf, our line. Private label, full chain.

BEV runs full-chain private label programs for retailers — develop, formulate, design, source, manufacture, deliver to your DC. SQF Ed.9. Krones today, KHS Q4 2026. ~6-week lead times once the program is locked in.

Who this page is for

You're a retailer, a private brand director, or a procurement lead at a chain that wants its own store-brand beverage on the shelf. You don't want to manage five vendors across formulation, design, regulatory, and logistics — you want one accountable partner who runs the whole chain to your DCs. That's the engagement we're built for.

What private label looks like at BEV

Private label is one of our biggest businesses. We treat it as a flagship engagement, not a service line. The full chain — concept to delivered pallet — runs through one BEV team:

Single-SKU multipacks, shelf-ready packaging (folding carton or printed corrugated), club-pack formats — all in scope on the cans line. Variety packs are not in our scope; for variety packs we route to a trusted repacker partner downstream.

Capacity for retail-scale programs

For private-label programs that need to launch in one region and scale to multiple, we have the headroom. Today's 80M cans/year handles most launches comfortably; the KHS line opens the runway for fast-growing programs.

Quality your retailer's vendor checklist will recognize

Private label decisions get made by procurement teams reading vendor checklists. Ours is built to clear them on the first pass:

Anonymized examples of programs we've run

We don't name our customers — confidentiality is core to how we operate, and the same protection applies to your program. What we can share:

Engagement timeline

From confirmed brief to first pallets at your DC, a typical first run lands in 3–4 months:

Repeat runs after that move in ~3 weeks once the recipe and materials are locked in. We compress timelines aggressively when a retailer's reset window or seasonal launch demands it.

Why retailers choose BEV

FAQ

What does BEV's private label program actually include?

Full chain. We develop the formulation, design the packaging, handle Mexican and US regulatory paperwork, source materials, run production on Krones (and KHS by Q4 2026), and deliver branded retailer product to your DCs. End-to-end, one accountable partner.

How is private label different from regular co-packing at BEV?

Two ways. First, scope: private label is a Full Project engagement — we run the entire chain. Second, logistics: for retailer programs we deliver to your DCs (USMCA paperwork handled, freight managed). For brand co-packing we ship EXW from our plant. Private label is the engagement where we own the full delivered solution.

Which categories of private label beverages does BEV produce?

Spring water, alkaline water, sparkling water, sodas, energy drinks, isotonic and sports drinks, hard seltzer, RTD cocktails, teas, juice CSDs, and more. Anything pasteurization-compatible — the full pillar of our cans line and our PET line. Coffee, lattes, milk-based products, and CBD are not in scope.

What's the minimum volume for a private label run?

180,000 cans per SKU on the can line. 100,000 bottles per SKU in PET. For retail private label these are typically run as part of a multi-SKU program, so total program volumes scale well beyond the per-SKU minimum.

What's the lead time on a new private label program?

First production run is typically 3–4 months from a confirmed brief to first pallets at your DC — covering formulation, design, label compliance, sourcing, production, and delivery. Repeat runs move faster once the recipe and materials are locked in (~3 weeks from PO to delivery).

Does BEV handle US-bound retail logistics under USMCA?

Yes. We handle the USMCA certificate of origin, commercial invoices, and Mexican export paperwork. For private label retailer programs we coordinate with your customs broker (or ours) and deliver to your US DCs.

What quality certifications support a retail private label program?

SQF Edition 9 (Cert 25-7302), audited annually by Mérieux NutriSciences, GFSI-recognized — the standard most retailer vendor checklists require. Anton Paar in-line sensors monitor density, CO₂, and O₂ on every can. Anton Paar lab handles micro, alcohol analysis, and double-seam check per batch. Lot-level traceability ERP-integrated. CRT-certified for tequila and mezcal RTDs.

Can BEV bottle private label water at the source?

Yes. Our PET line is one of the few bottle-at-source operations in Mexico — we bottle spring water directly at our spring in Jilotzingo, Estado de México. For retailer water programs that's a rare credibility lever (note: water itself is regulated by CONAGUA in Mexico, never owned privately).
